"Innovative to the Core"

The Gearbox CX14E Ultimate Power Elongated Paddle is designed for players who like a thicker-than-average and more stable paddle, but want to upgrade to Gearbox's Solid Span Technology (SST) core, and level-up their power game. The "E" in this paddle's name stands for elongated, referring to the 16-5/8" long by 7-3/8" wide shape. The "Ultimate Power" designation means Gearbox invested the time to re-engineer their beloved SST core and 3K woven carbon fiber face to add a noticeable level of power this 14mm (0.55") thick-core paddle. Further engineering was employed in orienting the graphite fibers to absorb impact vibrations, limit paddle torqueing (twisting) as a result of off-center strikes, and make the paddle quieter than many others on the market today.

The elongated shape, midweight 8.5 oz. mass, and perfect balance of this paddle are complemented by the 5-5/8" long handle wrapped in a reliable Gearbox Smooth Wrap grip. As with many Gearbox models, this handle is offered in two circumferences (3-5/8" and 3-15/16") and encourages powerful two-handed backhands while also providing reach for angled dinks and overheads. A key to the Gearbox CX14E Elongated Ribbed Core Pickleball Paddle, and the whole CX14 line, is certainly the 14mm T-700 Carbon Fiber SST Core. This is the same core material as featured in the CX11, but with a 3mm thicker build that offers a softer feel and more stability for players who prioritize those attributes. The Solid Span Technology Core (SST) consists of T-700 Graphite chambers that are heat-welded together, creating a single piece paddle that virtually eliminates dead spots, and enhances durability and longevity.

Finally, another new innovation to the Ultimate Power series is Hyper-Bite 2.0 Technology. This technology is the culmination of multiple elements from the core itself, to the carbon fiber face, to two applications of urethane and texture to bite and impart spin onto a pickleball like never before.
